The 2007 NHL Entry Draft was held on Friday, June 22, 2007 (1st round) and Saturday, June 23, 2007 (2nd to 7th rounds) at Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Chicago Blackhawks won the draft lottery with Philadelphia and Phoenix winning the second and third picks, respectively. Chicago selected right wing Patrick Kane from London (OHL) with the first overall pick.
