For the sixth consecutive season, the Penguins wore jerseys manufactured by CCM and for the second consecutive season wore the winged-Penguin style that was introduced ahead of the 1992-93 season. The Home (white) jerseys featured the winged-Penguin crest on the front with pointed shoulder accents. The Road (black) jerseys featured PITTSBURGH diagonally across the front and the new winged-Penguin crest on each shoulder.
The CCM logo was embroidered on the back right hemline to the left of the National Hockey League shield logo. The inside neckline of each jersey featured a CCM Ultrafil manufacturer's tag with a small size tag sewn next to it.

The Penguins began wearing Set 1 jerseys with the start of the 1993-94 regular season on October 5, 1993 at Philadelphia. The set continued throughout the regular season and was worn until March 10, 1993 (Home (white)) and March 30, 1993 (Road (black)). The Home (white) jerseys were worn in a total of 34 games while the Road (white) jerseys were worn in a total of 39 games. Each individual jersey within the set was worn as allocated by the Pittsburgh Penguins and each jersey should be researched individually to determine exactly when each jersey was worn. Set 1 jerseys were sold by the Pittsburgh Penguins to Byron's Hockeyland.

The set continued throughout the remainder of the regular season, into the 1994 Stanley Cup Playoffs and concluded on April 27, 1994 at Washington in Game 6. The Home (white) jerseys were worn in a total of 11 games while the Road (black) jerseys were worn in a total of six games. The Set 2 jerseys were recycled into the 1994-95 pre-season. The Home (white) jerseys were worn in one confirmed game during the 1994-95 pre-season and the Road (black) jerseys were worn in four confirmed games.
