The 1967 NHL Amateur Draft was held on Wednesday, June 7, 1967 at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Quebec. The draft order was set by the National Hockey League with the six expansion teams drafting first, according to results of a lottery. Draft positions 7-12 were based on the rotation established in previous years with the team that picked number one in 1966 (Boston) dropping to number 12 and all others moving up one position. The Los Angeles Kings chose defenseman Rick Pagnutti from Garson-Falconbridge (NOHA) first overall.
