For the second consecutive season, the Penguins wore jerseys manufactured by Fanatics which had been introduced on June 26, 2024 as the National Hockey League's official supplier of Authentic Pro NHL on-ice uniforms. The Fanatics-branded uniforms were manufactured by Quebec-based SP Apparel, the same company whose elite craftsmanship has provided the NHL's on-ice uniforms for nearly 50 years.
F.N.B. Corporation has now become the sponsor of the team's Home (black) and Third jerseys, replacing Highmark which sponsored the team's Home (black) and Third jerseys for the first three years of the sponsorship patch program. F.N.B. Corporation continues to sponsor the team's Road (white) jerseys for the third year in a row. Sponsorship logos were embroidered directly onto the jerseys.
The Fanatics logo is featured on the back neckline with a white logo embroidered onto black twill then stitched onto the Home (black) jerseys and a black logo embroidered onto white twill and stitched onto the Road (white) jerseys. The inside neckline of each jersey features "AUTHENTIC PRO" designations and an NHL/Fanatics branded Authentic Pro tag indicating the size of the jersey and "Made in Canada with Domestic and Imported Content" in two languages (English and French), the adidas logo, and the jersey's numerical size in three languages screened on. Inside the left side seam is a manufacturer's washing instructions tag.
Jerseys were lettered and numbered by Pro Knitwear of Pittsburgh, PA.

The Penguins began wearing Set 1 jerseys with the start of the 2025-26 pre-season on September 22nd against the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The set continued into the regular season. The Home (black) jerseys have been worn in a total of 17 games. The Road (white) jerseys have been worn in a total of 23 games. Each individual jersey within the set will be worn as allocated by the Pittsburgh Penguins and each jersey should be researched individually to determine exactly when each jersey was worn.

The Penguins unveiled their new third jerseys in a surprising way during the home opener on October 9, 2025 when they warmed-up in their traditional Home (black) jerseys and then took the ice prior to the game in their new uniforms. The jerseys have been worn for six games during the 2025-26 NHL season debuting on October 9, 2025 vs. NY Islanders at PPG Paints Arena and are scheduled to be worn six more times this season. The Fanatics jersey prominently features a standalone skating penguin as the crest on the ‘Penguins Gold’ background - reminiscent of Mario Lemieux and the Penguins of the 1980's. It was most recently worn as an alternate jersey during the 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons and at the 2017 Stadium Series game against cross-state rival Philadelphia at Heinz Field.
A triangle shoulder patch, symbolic of Pittsburgh's iconic Point State Park, encompasses three river waves, a black monochromatic checker pattern and an igloo to pay homage to the team’s original home arena. Details representing Pittsburgh are included throughout the design of the jersey. The three black stripes on the sleeves mimic the three rivers of Pittsburgh – the Allegheny, the Ohio and the Monongahela. The letters and numbers are inspired by the historic trolley car system of Pittsburgh, while the loop label on the bottom of the backside of the jersey shows an iconic yellow bridge. The final detail on the inside collar is a blue and white checker pattern from the City flag and seal flanking each side of the word PITTSBURGH.
