PITTSBURGH CAREER


2005-06: Had 13 points (6+7) in 33 games with the Penguins during his rookie campaign...Recalled on Oct. 31 and made his NHL debut the next night at New Jersey registering five shots on goal and four penalty minutes in 18:28 of ice time...Scored his first NHL goal two nights later on Nov. 3 at NY Islanders...Re-assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 12...Played two more games for Pittsburgh after being recalled from the Baby Penguins on Feb. 28...Re-assigned again to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on March 6th. Averaged nearly a point per game with the Baby Penguins...Racked up 46 points (24+22) in 48 games...Added four more points (2+2) in the Calder Cup Playoffs.

 

2006-07: Ranked 10th on the Penguins in scoring with 33 points (18+15) in 61 games played...Tied for the NHL lead with eight shootout goals...Scored on 8 of 14 shootout attempts (57.1%) and has converted 9 of 15 (60%) in his career, the best mark in Penguins history...Recorded the deciding goal in three of the 10 shootout wins for the Penguins...Played 16 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton prior to his recall and registered 24 points
